I’m so excited it’s finally Spring but unfortunately the weather doesn’t agree with me. Living in Los Angeles for so many years, I didn’t realize how much I would miss and take for granted those always sunny and perfect beach weather days. Every year, I debate on when I should transition my winter wardrobe. People in Nash say after tax day and I totally understand why. It’s still in the 40s here so I’m beyond ready for 70 degree weather!
Mixing prints can be a little intimidating but I think it’s the best way to create a signature style. As some of you know, I love investing in something and wearing it 3 different ways. I actually bought this skirt in late Fall and paired it with a grey sweater so when I saw this polka dot blouse…I had an idea plus mixing patterns is a huge trend for Spring. I added a boot so I could skip a jacket and show off the amazing bell sleeves. Another way you could wear this top is adding a pair of cut offs and mules to take this look into Spring. Oh with this bag too…all set!
How do you feel about mixing prints? Do you like to play with different patterns with pieces you already have in your closet? I shared a few extra stripes and polka dot pieces below. Happy shopping!
