Happy one week into the New Year! Not sure if that’s a thing but it’s been a busy last few weeks for us so apologies for the lack of posts this year 😉 We spent the holidays with family and friends at home in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was a much needed recharge to kick off the New Year with a fresh start!
Also…check out this hilarious wrapping paper Alexa customized for gifts this year. It was such a funny and creative idea for gifts.
Definitely save this site for next year!
As some of you know, our extremely talented and handsome brother Slater, is the #1 longsnapper in the nation (if you don’t know what a longsnapper is…it’s 2018, get with it 🙂 …or google, please). Slater was offered a scholarship to Cal Berkeley and National Signing Day was a few weeks ago so our parents threw him an epic party to celebrate! Cal colors are blue and gold and silly us did not get gear in time but thankfully that marigold color is everywhere right now!
Here are a few pics from the party…also how amazing is that donut wall?
We spent the first week of the New Year cheering on Slater at the Under Amour All-American Game in Orlando, Florida. The top high school players in the nation were invited to play in the game and it was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The game was televised on ESPN which was pretty cool! The weather in Orlando was unseasonably rainy and cold so we made sure to pack cozy athletic wear for our trip. The colors for the week were red, white and black. We had to pack light so we doubled up on a few jackets and mix-matched when we needed to layer.
Here are a few things we packed. We also linked some of our favorites below!

It was such a fun time spending the week for our family. Just being with him in his element and watching the activities…it will be something we never forget.
We can’t wait to continue on the journey with him to Cal!
Next up…time to tackle those New Years resolutions that have been looming this past week…oh and maybe think about taking Christmas decorations down. 😉
