Who doesn’t love some sweet treats and extra sugaaaa during the holidays?! We make sugar cookies every year. It’s one of our favorite Christmas traditions. This year, we spent an entire day baking, frosting and decorating the yummy cookies. As our Grandmother tells us, the key is the getting the dough extremely flat and use lots and lots of flour. Using crushed candy canes for topping adds the perfect touch!
Another tradition we do every year is matching/coordinating pajamas for Christmas morning. Growing up, our mom would let us open one present on Christmas Eve and every year, they were festive PJs. We would wear them to bed, wake up super early and hope that mom and dad wouldn’t make us take a picture in front of every tree before we open gifts…but it never worked–every year, to date–we take a Christmas morning pic in our PJs before we can touch a gift. Looking back, we are so happy to have a collection of Christmas morning PJ pics that we will forever cherish. This is a photo of us last year but below, we’ve linked a few of our favorite PJs this season!
Share with us below your favorite Christmas traditions…we’d love to hear!
We’re headed home for the holidays. We wish you, your family and loved ones a Merry Merry Christmas!
