It’s sweater weather!! Being west coast gals, we never really grew up wearing sweaters in October or early November. If anything, we had more sleeveless knits…so we’ve definitely have been stocking up the last few years. We’ve noticed that spending a few extra dollars on a sweater is worth it. The shelf life of a sweater is already short after wearing just a few times, so when it comes to buying knits, we don’t mind spending a little more. As cooler months quickly approach, here are a few tips when looking for the perfect sweater.
We keep a few things in mind before buying…depending on the cut, make sure you get it big enough. For a chunky knit, like this embroidered floral, we usually go up a size in case we want to layer underneath with a colored white button down. For something more fitted and work appropriate like this adorable pom pom crew neck, stay true to size.
Play-sweaters are everywhere this year and we don’t hate it! This Good Vibes knit looks cozy and is definitely going in our cart! We also love this bright cowl neck with balloon sleeves and this flirty balloon sleeve ruffle number.
Another trend this season are fuzzy fur accents and beaded details. This fur pocket over sized sweater would look cute with OTK boots. Also this pearl beaded cropped knit is a must have this season! Speaking of fur, did you see our post on fur sleeves and ripped jeans? Check it out!
Here are a few under $150 that we’re lovin’ right now…Warm, cuddly and chic!
